Goettsche and his family

At 208 Dental, we treat our patients like family and take the time to provide quality dental work. We utilize the best materials and techniques that modern dentistry has to offer. Furthermore, our office is equipped with the latest in dental technology to give you a smile that will last for years to come! Nevertheless, the long term success of your dental care is largely dependent on following the recommendations of 208 Dental. However, we know that despite taking all the proper precautions, sometimes dental work can be unsuccessful. In these instances we offer the following limited warranty:

Crowns, Porcelain Veneers, Bridges, Inlays, Onlays

All of the above restorations are under warranty for 5 years, but are often successful far beyond that time frame. If the restoration needs to be replaced due to failure to wear a prescribed occlusal guard, we will help with the replacement costs at no greater than 50%. If the restoration fails within 5 years, and the tooth is not salvageable, the cost of the restoration will be credited towards future treatment at 208 Dental (e.g. implant, bridge) as outlined below. That being said, this warranty does not include damage to the restoration that would likely break one’s natural tooth nor does it cover loss of the restoration due to breakage of the underlying natural tooth structure supporting it. In the unlikely scenario your restoration requires replacement within the first few years, the schedule below outlines how we will help you with the replacement costs:

First year of service – 100% Coverage

Second year of service – 80% Coverage

Third year of service – 60% Coverage

Fourth year of service – 40% Coverage

Fifth year of service – 20% Coverage

Sixth year of service – 0% Coverage

Root Canal Therapy

Root Canal therapy is under warranty for 5 years, but is often successful for many more years to come. The procedure has a 95% success rate, but on occasion, is not successful, despite our best efforts. If this occurs, we will credit the fee to be used towards future dental care at 208 Dental (e.g. an implant, bridge). If a tooth fractures following root canal therapy and is not salvageable due to the prescribed crown not being completed, the tooth will not be covered.

Dental Implants Warranty

Implants

Implants are under warranty for 5 years. However, they can last a lifetime and are typically the best option to replace a missing tooth. This procedure has a success rate upwards of 95%, but on occasion, is not successful. Most insurance companies will not pay for another implant for the same tooth again. In the unlikely scenario your implant requires replacement within the first few years, the schedule below outlines how we will help you with the replacement costs:

First year of service – 100% Coverage

Second year of service – 80% Coverage

Third year of service – 60% Coverage

Fourth year of service – 40% Coverage

Fifth year of service – 20% Coverage

Sixth year of service – 0% Coverage

Composite (White) Fillings and Sealants

Composite restorations are under warranty for 2 years, although they are often successful for much longer. However, if a composite restoration was done as a compromised form of care (e.g. in lieu of a recommended crown), that restoration will not be covered. If your restoration needs to be replaced within 2 years and a crown is now the treatment of choice, the original cost of the restoration will be put towards a crown to be completed at 208 Dental.

Dentures

Dentures are under warranty for a period of 3 years, but are often in use much longer. Breakage of the denture due to an accident such as dropping it or a dog chewing it are not covered. Although we will make every effort to make your denture fit comfortably including recommending reline therapy, due to the nature of dentures, we cannot guarantee your absolute comfort.

LIMITATIONS:

  1. This warranty will be null and void if the patient does not maintain the recommended cleaning and exam intervals and follow through with relevant recommended treatment.
  2. If a tooth becomes symptomatic following dental care such as a filling or crown, and requires root canal therapy, this is a recognized infrequent but known complication. There are several reasons a tooth requires root canal therapy that are beyond our control such as deep cavities, fractures, and individual patient sensitivities.
  3. This warranty does not cover damage due to trauma, accidents, neglect, or inappropriate use such as: grinding, clenching, chewing on ice, opening bottles, etc…
