Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine

Graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine - Arizona with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Goettsche was awarded the Life Long Learner Award while he was there.

Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Goettsche is a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry-FAGD. In order to obtain this level of honor he had to complete over 500 hours of continuing education and pass a rigorous exam. Only 6% of dentists complete this fellowship.

OSAP

Attended OSAP. The OSAP Dental Infection Control Boot Camp is a fast-paced, foundational-level educational course presented by national and international experts in dental infection prevention and patient safety.

Maxi Course

Dr. Goettsche completed the year long, world class AAID Vancouver MaxiCourse. The program awards attendees 300 hours of Continuing Education credits on dental implants.

U.S. Army

Served as a Captain in the United States Army as a dentist from June 2015 - May 2019. Dr. Goettsche was deployed in Kuwait and Afghanistan for most of 2018. He thinks that service to one's country is important.

Sleep Medicine

Eric Goettsche, DMD is certified in the area of dental sleep medicine after attending a USA Dental Health Activity course on oral sleep appliances.

Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Prosthetics

Received recognition for a completed externship in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Prosthetics unit at William Beaumont Hospital in Fort Bliss, Texas. His time spent there was largely focused on implants and wisdom teeth.
