Appointment Policies

At 208 Dental, we value your time and work hard to keep our schedule running smoothly so we can provide timely, high-quality care for all patients. When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you. We kindly ask that you review and respect the following appointment guidelines.

Appointment Confirmation

Appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Confirmations may be completed by phone, text, or email.
Appointments that are not confirmed may be released to another patient on our waitlist.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 48 business hours’ notice. Business hours exclude weekends and holidays.
Providing advance notice allows us to offer your reserved time to another patient in need of care.

Late Arrivals

If you are running late, please contact our office as soon as possible. Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled if clinical time cannot be reasonably extended, as a courtesy to other scheduled patients.

Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations

Appointments canceled with less than 48 business hours’ notice or missed without notice are considered late cancellations or no-shows. A $50 missed appointment fee may apply, consistent with our Financial Agreement Policy.
Repeated missed or late-cancelled appointments may result in additional scheduling requirements, including deposits for future appointments or dismissal from the practice.

Deposits & Card on File

All appointments require a valid credit or debit card on file to reserve clinical time. Appointments for which a balance is expected require a 50% deposit of the estimated patient portion at the time of scheduling.
Deposits are applied to your appointment if kept and are governed by our Financial Agreement Policy.

Respect for Our Schedule

Missed appointments prevent other patients from receiving care and impact our clinical team. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide timely care to all patients.
For full details regarding deposits, fees, and payment responsibilities, please refer to our Financial Agreement Policy, which is reviewed and signed prior to treatment.
